Interoperability thrives when the industry comes together, and this week marks a significant moment for collaboration and progress. On Thursday, April 9, in Washington, D.C., major organizations across the healthcare and technology landscape gathered to celebrate and demonstrate the progress being made by companies in advancing the CMS-aligned data network pledge. The pledge outlines adopters’ commitment to breaking down barriers in health data exchange to provide patients and providers with real-time, secure access to information. This collaborative pledge ensures that health data flows without friction or delay, while strictly upholding patient privacy and regulatory standards.
At Carequality, we don’t just believe in breaking down barriers to health data exchange, we lead the charge and are proud to support the organizations who are working to make that vision a reality. As a trusted convener and architect of interoperability, we are proud to drive the industry forward by uniting frameworks, networks, and organizations under a shared vision. Our leadership drives the adoption of bold, innovative strategies, ensuring that efforts across the ecosystem translate into tangible, real-world impact.
We’re especially encouraged to see the progress of Carequality implementers in this journey. Of the early CMS data network adopters, 52% (11 out of 21) are Carequality implementers. Additionally, more than a quarter of Carequality’s implementers have now taken the CMS data network pledge.
Carequality continues to play a pivotal role in advancing health information exchange and interoperability in the United States. Our longstanding mission is rooted in realizing the benefits of health information exchange in the United States, which has long sought to overcome barriers to interoperability and care coordination.
We recognize this week marks just the beginning, but it is already a powerful reminder of what is possible when the industry comes and works together. We’re committed to supporting every one of them on that journey, and we look forward to seeing this list grow as more organizations align around a connected, interoperable, patient-centered health data ecosystem. Together, we can build a future where seamless data sharing empowers better care for all.
